Principal, Innovative Hospitality Solutions
Matt is a 17-year veteran of the on-site foodservice industry,
and is a Principal and Co-Founder of Innovative Hospitality Solutions.
Prior to co-founding Innovative Hospitality Solutions, Matt was
First Vice President and Assistant Director of MBNA’s Dining
& Hospitality Services department. His role focused on developing
and implementing information technology strategies, concept and
facility design development and execution of all marketing programs
for the global foodservice and retail services program for over
28,500 MBNA employees.
Before joining MBNA, Matt spent six years with Wood Dining Services
and three years with Marriott Management Services. His contract
foodservice experience included both operational management and
business development positions and spanned the corporate services
and higher education sectors. Matt has worked for organizations
such as TIAA-CREF, Blue Cross, Blue Shield (NJ), National Security
Agency (NSA), University of New Haven, Georgetown University, University
of Pittsburgh and George Mason University.
Matt is an active member of the Society for Foodservice Management
(SFM) and holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel, restaurant and
institutional management from Penn State University. He also has
achieved the designation of Foodservice Management Professional
through the National Restaurant Association.
